380kV GIS Building
380kV GIS & 380kV GIS Building are the main part of Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) Substations in KSA. Inside this Building we need following Types of Panels.
AC Auxiliary Panels
In 380kV GIS Building one (1) Sub Ac Distribution Board is required. Since the Main AC DB is located inside Auxiliary Room in control Building, and distance is about 200-400 meters from main ACDB to Sub ACDB inside 380kV GIS building we use 4*300mm2 cable with 3 runs and 2 feeders (1 from each bus). Cable is rated as 4CX4mm², CU/XLPE/PVC,0.6/1KV.
DC Auxiliary Panels
In 380kV GIS Building we need to Three (3) Numbers of Sub DC Distribution Boards. Below is the list
1. Control supply DB
2. Trip, CB and DS/ES motor panel
3. Alarm & indication DB
Emergency lighting panel
Inside 380kV GIS Building we need One (1) Sub DC Distribution Boards for emergency lighting and its name is Emergency lighting panel.
Indoor Lighting Panels
In 380kV GIS Building One (1) Sub AC Distribution Boards is required for Indoor lighting and is named as Indoor lighting panel.
Outdoor lighting Panels
In 380kV GIS Building One (1) Sub AC Distribution Boards is required for Outdoor lighting and is named as Outdoor lighting panel.
HVAC Panels
Two numbers of HVAC Panels are required
Fire alaram Control Panel FACP
We need only 1 panel for Fire alarm control under the name Fire alaram Control Panel FACP.
PDMS
We need 3 small panels inside GIS building
